Welcome to the Chiang Mai Project.<\/p>\n

In 2007 a theater group made up of actors from all over North America traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand. They collaborated with local Thai actors to put on a full production of the play A Gap in Generations<\/em>. More than just a cultural exchange, all proceeds from the performance went to aiding two charities that the director, Sherie Guilliat, had become deeply involved with. These were the Vieng Ping Children’s home in Mae Rim, Thailand and the Friends of the Asian Elephant Hospital in Lampang, Thailand.<\/p>\n

Through this site and a recently completed film about the project, we are continuing to develop awareness and raise money to help these worthy causes.<\/p>\n
