The Vieng Ping Children’s Home, which serves orphaned children in the Northern Region of Thailand, and is the first orphanage to care for children who are HIV-positive and/or who have become orphaned by the deaths of AIDS-infected parents.
The documentary film, “The Chiang Mai Project” will be shown as part of “The Arts Exchange” – a recurring performing and visual arts program for emigrant artists. In addition to the film, there will be performances, literary readings, and art from Portugal, Iran, Korea, Germany, Kenya, Indonesia, Taiwan, Bosnia, Russia and Pakistan.
